Our friendly team of BMS Registered Menopause Specialists can’t wait to welcome you to our menopause clinic, seeing patients in Manchester & across the UK.
Perimenopause and menopause are times of transition and can be challenging for many reasons.
But we’re here to support you through this phase of life.
At Manchester Menopause Hive, we provide up-to-date, evidence-based information to help you understand what’s happening and make confident decisions that support both your current wellbeing and future health.
Our aim is for your menopause to be a positive experience under your control — a time where you’re able to take stock, acquire knowledge and skills, reconnect to your body’s needs and truly thrive.
We support patients experiencing hormonal symptoms that affect their physical health, emotional wellbeing, and quality of life, including:
- Perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
- Premature and early menopause
- Neurodivergence impacted by hormones (ADHD & Autism)

HRT (Hormone replacement therapy), nutrition and lifestyle adjustments, psychological and behavioural input, are all important and we can help you to decide on the combination that is most likely to work for you.
The consultation I had was excellent – very thorough and the doctor was clearly incredibly knowledgeable on the subject…
…as a result, my current HRT was tweaked and added to and already I am seeing improvements. What a relief! Would highly recommend.”

The Manchester Menopause Clinic, founded in 2022
The clinic was founded by Dr Zoe Hodson, a brilliant GP and Menopause Specialist who is sadly now retired from clinical practice.
The clinic remains in the experienced hands of her colleague Dr Rachael Chrystal, along side Dr Catherine Taylor and Dr Jennifer Horrocks who are experienced GPs and Registered British Menopause Society Menopause Specialists.
Together they continue to fulfil the ethos of the clinic to provide personalised, evidence-based menopause care to all women via video consultation or face to face appointments in Hale, Altrincham.
It was a revelation after feeling completely alone to deal with everything since my surgery. I will never be able to thank them enough for their care…
Before I came to Menopause Hive, I was really struggling, having begun surgical menopause 4 weeks earlier. The consultation I had with the doctor lasted an hour, during which time I truly felt listened to and understood. She took great care to talk through HRT and what I could expect. When my HRT arrived, it was instantly life-changing.
Thank you for being there and listening to women – you are doing such important work.”
