ONLINE MENOPAUSE APPOINTMENT
Book Video Appointment
We are delighted to offer video appointments with our specialist menopause doctors.
We look forward to meeting you and supporting you through your menopause journey.
Book your video appointment below:
What software do I need?
Our video consultations take place using a secure medical video platform called Semble. You will be sent a link to access this by email after you have booked. You can access this via your internet browser and don’t need to download any software. This tends to work best on a computer/laptop or ipad but you can also use your smartphone.
Make sure you’re comfortable and in a quiet, relaxed space for the call.
How much are appointments?
New patient video appointments are £250
Follow ups (available for patients who have been seen by Manchester Menopause Hive within the past 12 months) are £160.
Payment will be taken at the time of booking for new patient appointments. Payment for follow up appointments will be taken 48 hours prior to your appointment, from the card we hold on file for you.
How do I book?
You can book your appointment online above.
However, we know sometimes you’d prefer to speak someone, so please don’t hesitate to contact Helen, our patient coordinator on 07507660757 who can get your appointment booked in for you on the phone.
What to expect when booking your appointment
If this is your first appointment with us, Helen will give you a call ahead of your appointment to make sure we have all the relevant information and to answer any questions you may have.
Once your appointment is booked you will be sent links to complete your pre-consultation questionnaires, which allow us to ensure we have the relevant health information about you and enable you to get the most out of your consultation.
You can email in any documents or results that you think might be helpful for your clinician to be aware of in advance of your appointment.
Important information
Cancellations and reschedules: As a small clinic, late cancellations and reschedules pose an increasing challenge, as it is tricky for us to fill appointments at late notice. Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled by phone, email or via the link in your confirmation email up to 48 business hours before your appointment start time (Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays). After this we will not be able to offer any refunds, and payment for the full cost of your appointment will be due if not already paid. If you are unable to attend at short notice, we do offer the option to convert your appointment to a telephone call (at no additional charge). Thank you for your understanding.
Difficulty finding a suitable time? You can also contact Helen on info@manchestermenopausehive.co.uk or 07507660757 if you are having trouble finding a suitable time.
Confirmation emails: Please note that booking confirmation emails may go into your junk email box. You should receive an email on booking your appointment which will contain your link to access the video appointment- if you don’t receive this then please do let us know.
Prefer a telephone appointment? Book a video appointment above, and let us know in the booking details that you would prefer to have your appointment on the telephone.
What our patients say…
The care here is personal, thorough, and genuinely focused on long-term wellbeing — not just a quick fix.
Over a twelve week period my menopause symptoms have improved dramatically and my sense of wellbeing has increased to a point where I can look forward to the future with anticipation rather than dread.”
I have received the very best of care from the team at Manchester Menopause Hive.
From the time of my first contact with the administrator, Helen, and through both my video consultations with Dr. Rachael Chrystal I believe I have received the very best of care from the team at Manchester Menopause Hive.”
Although I have always accessed online, it has not felt remote and the booking and organisation of appointments is excellent.”
The clinical advice is always excellent, being supportive and providing information above and beyond that from NHS clinics/ GP (I say this as a GP myself!)”
