What to expect when booking your appointment
Once your appointment is booked you will be sent links to complete your pre-consultation questionnaires, which allow us to ensure we have the relevant health information about you and enable you to get the most out of your consultation.
If this is your first appointment with us, Helen will give you a call ahead of your appointment to make sure we have all the relevant information and to answer any questions you may have.
Important information
Cancellations, reschedules and no-shows: As a small clinic, late cancellations and reschedules pose an increasing challenge, as it is tricky for us to fill appointments at late notice. Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled by phone, email or via the link in your confirmation email up to 48 business hours before your appointment start time (Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays). After this we will not be able to offer any refunds, and payment for the full cost of your appointment will be due if not already paid. If you are unable to attend at short notice, we do offer the option to convert your in-person appointment to a telephone or video call (at the same charge as the in-person appointment)
Difficulty finding a suitable time? You can also contact Helen on info@manchestermenopausehive.co.uk or 07507660757 if you are having trouble finding a suitable time.
Confirmation emails: Please note that booking confirmation emails may go into your junk email box. You should receive an email on booking your appointment which will contain your link to access the video appointment- if you don’t receive this then please do let us know.
Accessibility needs? Let us know and we will do our best to support you. Our clinic room is on the ground floor and is wheelchair friendly.
How do I get to my appointment? We are very close to Hale Railway station or a 10-15 minute walk from Altrincham Metro (Tram) station. There are several bus routes to Hale and Altrincham. You can find us on google maps here
Where can I park? There is two hour street parking directly outside the clinic if available or alternatively there is a pay and display car park at Hale railway station or behind M&S Food in Hale village. Please allow sufficient time to find a parking space before your appointment, especially at peak times.
Do you have disabled access? We are fully accessible, however, please call ahead so that we can make any necessary arrangements.
Can I have my bloods taken at my in-person appointment? Yes. There is a £30 phlebotomy fee for any blood tests taken at your appointment.
We look forward to seeing you for your appointment – please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions beforehand.
